Subject: - Establishment promotion, transfer and posting in the grade of

     Lower Division Clerk  -  Order regarding.

PART – I 

                        The following Sepoys (Group ‘D’) of Central Excise and Customs, Shillong Zone are hereby promoted to grade of Lower Division Clerk in the Pay Band of Rs. 5200-20200 and Grade Pay of Rs. 1900 with effect from the date they assume charges of higher post at their places of postings shown in Part II.

                         This promotion is in pursuance of Ministry’s letter F.No. A-32018/14/2008-Ad.III.A dated 06.02.2009. 

                        As per DOPT’s O.M. issued under F.No. 49011/1/94-Estt. (G), New Delhi dated 25.01.1996, the above mentioned officials on promotion as Lower Division Clerk should qualify in typing within 2 (two) years failing which they will be reverted to Group ‘D’. They will not be entitled to draw increments until they qualify in typewriting test within the period of 6 (six) months.                        

                        In the event of refusal of promotion, they will be debarred for promotion in the grade of LDC for a period of one year. 

PART – II

TRANSFER AND POSTING 

                        On promotion, all the officers are retained at their present places of postings.
