Sub: Establishment Promotion, Transfer and Posting of Sepoy to the grade of Havaldar – Order/Regarding.

PART – I PROMOTION

Shri Kapileswar Roy, Sepoy of Customs and Central Excise, presently posted at Chief Commissioner’s Office, Shillong is hereby promoted to the grade of Havaldar in the Pay Band of Rs. 5200 – 20200/- and Grade Pay of Rs. 1800/- with effect from the date he assumes charge of higher post.

He is hereby requested to exercise option within one month from the date of promotion as to whether his initial pay should be fixed in the higher post on the basis of FR. 22(I)(a)(1) straightaway without any further review on accrual of increment in the pay scale of the lower post or his pay on promotion should be fixed initially in the manner as provided under FR. 22(a)(1) which may be re-fixed under the provision of FR. 22(I)(a)(1) on the date of accrual of next increment in the scale of pay of lower post. Option once exercised shall be final.

In the event of refusal of promotion, he would be debarred from promotion for a period of one year.

PART – II TRANSFER AND POSTINGS

On promotion, Shri Kapileswar Roy, Sepoy is retained in his present place of posting until further orders.
